Go to Edulastic and click on your social studies "class".  You will find a set of questions for the article that you read, Life in a Roman Town.  Please complete the online questions.  Some of the questions require me to go in and hand score so please do not freak out if it says you got a bad grade.  I will make corrections and post your actual grade in RenWeb.  :)

Please don't forget that you should have completed the Edpuzzle and Outline that I assigned in class.

Hey all!  We will meet in Google Hangout during your class time today or tomorrow if you are in 7th period.  Look for the email!  :)  Once we have met, I will send out your assignment in Edpuzzle and OneNote.  The assignments will not be available to you until we meet in Hangouts. You will have "class time" to work on the assignment.  We will be out of Google Hangout while you work, but I will be available the whole time.  You can just pop back on and ask me a question.   Listed below is your assignment for class and times to Log on.  :)

1.  Check your email for a message from me about Edpuzzle.  Click on the link.  It may ask you to sign in again.  Use your google email to sign in if needed and click 'Join Class'.  Once there go to 'My Classes' and click 1st period Social Studies.  You should see a video called Ancient Rome in your assignments.  The first part of the video is a review.  Please watch the video and answer the questions as you go.  For each question you will need to answer, hit submit, and continue.  When you are finished I will get an alert that tells me how you did on the questions and how long it took you to watch and answer.

2. In the classwork section of OneNote you will find a page called Life in a Roman Town for you to read.   Once you are finished reading, you will outline the article.  I have color coded the article so that you know how many bullets to do for each paragraph.  Please write your outline on pages 20-21 in your Interactive Notebook.  You can take pictures of your outline and email them to me.

1st period (Tuesday) Log on to Google Hangouts: 8:30

2nd period (Tuesday) Log on to Google Hangouts: 10:00

3rd period (Tuesday) Log on to Google Hangouts: 12:30

Due Monday:  The in-class work that you did this week is due Monday.

1.  Outline pages 266-267 (8 bullets on the first section/6 bullets on the second section) This should be done on page 18 of your interactive notebook.  It is perfectly fine if  you need to use pages 18-19.

2. Roman Class Structure chart-  This should be glued in to page 19 (or 20) of your interactive notebook.  The information that needs to be written under each section is in the Notes section of OneNote.

3. Questions- These are questions that I have on paper for you to answer.  If you did not get a hard copy I posted them in classwork in OneNote.  Please follow the directions for those.

If you were out today, please check your email.  You should have emails from me asking you to join Edpuzzle and Edulastic.  Please do that before Monday.  If it asks you to sign in, please use your google account.  For now that is all you need to do.  If you have any problems please email me!

Homework tonight-

Using your interactive notebook, complete the following:
Outline the fill in the blank notes from page 6.  You will write your notes on page 7 and 8 if  needed.

** This is just like outlining the chapter that we have done except you are just outlining the one page of notes.  The purpose of this is to transfer the material to a format that is easier to study.  I am not telling you how many bullets are needed because all of the information is important.
