If you did not finish your Athens/Sparta postcard in class today, it is due tomorrow.  Please remember that you need to be specific in what you write.  For example, you might see girls in Athens throwing the javelin and wrestling not, kids in Athens playing.   The purpose of this assignment is to show what you know about Athens and Sparta, not just writing and coloring a postcard.

Due Thursday, January 9th:

Outline Section 4.1 in the book.  (Pages 116-123)


You must include the following on your notes. 
  • The section and title (Example: 4.1 - The Early Greeks)
  • The name of each "heading" and important notes from that section.  Please
make sure the section is marked.  For example, draw a bubble around it,
underline it, or write in all caps. 
  • Any vocabulary word and its definition.  Please highlight the word in yellow.
